Welcome Dr. MJ Dallozzi!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Dr. MJ Dallozzi — our newest post‑doctoral fellow at the Center for Psychological Growth and Resilience!

We are so excited to have Dr. Dallozzi joining our team and bringing a rich blend of clinical training, real‑world experience, and creative energy.

Dr. Dallozzi earned his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University (Twin Cities), completed a pre‑doctoral internship at Mental Health Systems, and completed practicum training with the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society & Institute and Parker Collins Family Mental Health.

Before coming to Minnesota, he lived in Pittsburgh, where he earned a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Carlow University and completed practicum and internship trainings in private practice and teen outreach centers. He also brings experience from the for‑profit sector, having held leadership roles focused on accounting and human resources.

Clinically, Dr. Dallozzi is trained in a broad range of modalities — including EMDR, DBT, CBT, psychodynamic and gestalt‑informed conceptualizing, ACT, ego‑state work, relational‑cultural and feminist approaches, anchor‑network techniques, humanistic and group therapies, and more. His specialties include trauma, neurodivergence (adult ADHD and Level 1 ASD), care for sexual and gender minorities (LGBTQIA+), career counseling, anxiety, dissociation, family dynamics, and supporting adult children of parents with or at risk for Cluster B personality disorders.

Fun fact: Dr. Dallozzi loves to weave the arts and pop culture into therapy—talking about a favorite film, book, painting, or musician is always welcome.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. MJ Dallozzi at CPGR — stay tuned for upcoming programs and opportunities to meet him!
